SPGH is dedicated to organizing relevant, and stimulating events on Greek identity and heritage, as well as their influence on the modern world for the DC community. Past events have included panels and lectures on myriad topics such as Crisis Hellenism, The Greek Brain Drain, Art and Ideology in Modern Greece, and a comparison of Epirotic moirologia with Southern blues. SPGH also hosted the Greek Music Ensemble in 2018 for a special event honoring the music of Hadjidakis and Theodorakis.
